Wherever you are in your journey,
you are welcome at First Baptist Church!

We are a family of believers that extends God’s love as it has been extended to us. At First Baptist, we are a welcoming people, committed to discipleship, and impacting a world for Jesus Christ.  We are excited about meeting you and look forward to seeing you soon!

When do you meet?

We meet in our sanctuary where we sing songs of praise, pray corporately, spend time greeting one another, and receiving the Word of God from the Holy Bible.  We believe service begins with Sunday School, which starts at 9:45am. We study and discuss the Word of God. Our Praise and Worship Service starts at 11:00am.

How often do you take communion?

We take the Lord’s Supper also known as the Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month.  All who are believers are invited to participate in this holy ordinance.

Do you have anything for children?

Children are welcome and encouraged to stay with you during service. We offer several opportunities for youth engagement, including Sunday School, Youth Choir and various events throughout the year such as our annual Back to School Bash, Easter EGGstravaganza and Hallelujah Fest

The Fifth Sundays are our Youth Sundays, in which our Youth participate in facilitating the Worship Service.

When I visit, will I have to say anything or be singled out?

You will not be asked to say anything or introduce yourself as a visitor.  As our way of welcoming you, we do ask all of our First Time Visitors to stand so that we may greet you.  You will be given a guest information card to fill out if you would like more information about our church.  If you prefer not to stand, though, that is fine, too.  We do not want you to do anything that would make you feel uncomfortable.

If I need prayer, will First Baptist Church pray for me?

First Baptist is a praying church.  We have intercessory prayer at the end of our worship service. We also have a Power of Prayer call (267-807-9601) in which we pray corporately on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm.

We would love to pray for you. If you wish, you may send prayer requests through the PRAYER REQUEST here.

Will I have a chance to meet the Pastor?

Pastor Neal looks forward to meeting visitors and spending time with members after each service. He is usually available at the front of the church immediately following service to receive guests and members, as well as speak with those who need prayer.

Will I be asked to give an offering?

As a guest, you are welcome, but not expected, to make an offering.  The Tithes and Offerings portion of our service is a time of celebration at First Baptist. Our members are excited to give as part of their commitment to God and the church.

Need More Information?

On Sunday mornings, our Deacons, Mothers, Ushers, and church members are always on hand to talk with you and answer any questions you might have about our church. You may also contact Pastor Neal at 704.980.8158 or contact us through the website here.

We welcome ALL people to come and worship the resurrected Jesus Christ with us. We look forward to meeting you soon!
